Jessamine is a Washington native who lives with her husband in Mukilteo, WA. The daughter of a New Mexican cowboy and a Seattle Police detective, Jessamine is a life-long "handy woman" who has always had a gift for creativity, especially in practical applications. After years of honing her "crafting" skills, she discovered a great love of upcycling old and neglected books, papers, and images and giving them new life in her treasure journals. Similar to classic "junk journals," Jessamine takes great joy and care in finding the most beautiful combinations of paper and turning them into a place to put your treasured memories. Since she can't keep them all, she enjoys being able to sell these journals to her customers for them to surprise loved ones with a unique, handmade gift, or to keep their memories in a practical yet beautiful treasure journal.
In her free time, Jessamine enjoys watching mystery shows with her husband, chatting with her children when they come to visit, finding great deals at thrift stores, volunteering at her church, and doting on her "manager," her fluffy tortie cat named "Biggie."
